We are seeking an innovative and experienced Chef de Partie to deliver a memorable experience by creating a place to savour for our guests and establish The Langham, Gold Coast as a dining institution.
Key Responsibilities
As Chef de Partie, you are responsible to assist our culinary team create memorable meals for our guests. You will ensure that the food standards are achieved in consistency with those laid down in the kitchen manual, standard recipes, photographs. You will ensure to plan and organise the preparation and cooking of food in the outlet under the direction of the Chef de Cuisine and Executive Chef.
The Chef de Partie, inspires and coordinates the output and quality standards of the Kitchen Teams – delegating duties and responsibilities to ensure service standards are met and implementing, producing and presenting high quality food items across the Property’s Outlets.
About You
Our Chef de Partie will be an innovator and will have experience in high end volume operations at a luxury hotel/High End Restaurant or Café and proven experience leading teams to meet a level of high performance across food quality and innovation.
Other key attributes we are looking for include:
- Passion for the craft and Industry
- Sound knowledge of the latest trends and Artisan experience in the industry
- Knowledge of lamination/technique for Croissant & Danish pastries.
- Proved experience delivering bespoke menus and amenities.
- Passion for service excellence and providing superior hospitality experience
- Proven ability to work in a high pressure and fast-paced environment
- Creative, eye for Detail and a Flair for Presentation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Completed technical education in hospitality or culinary school
