The Langham, Gold Coast has the rare opportunity for an experienced, motivated and service-orientated Information Technology (IT) Officer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Provide hands-on support for all IT systems (software and hardware), ensuring smooth daily operations for guests and colleagues;
- Assist the IT Manager with maintenance and support of core hotel systems including PMS, POS, networks, and telephony;
- Set up and maintain laptops, desktops, user accounts, and network devices (LAN/WAN/WLAN);
- Troubleshoot IT issues promptly, minimising downtime and ensuring effective resolutions;
- Support installation and configuration of hardware and software across the property;
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and assist with colleague system training;
- Maintain IT equipment inventory and ensure compliance with IT policies and security procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
To be successful in the role you will have been in the same or similar position in a Hotel environment with proven experience managing IT Systems across organisations.
