We are seeking a service-centric and luxury minded Reservations Manager to lead and support our high performing Reservations department provide a seamless and memorable booking experience.

Key Responsibilities

As our Reservations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to day operations and strategic leadership of the Reservations Team, consistently displaying a strong focus on personalised service, brand standards and the development of the skills to ensure our pursuit of service excellence.

In conjunction with the Front Office, Revenue, Sales and Marketing teams, our Reservations Manager supports and monitor availability of rooms, room types and rate categories. With a sound knowledge and understanding of FIT and Group Reservations, this role is the knowledge base of our accommodation bookings and knows the opportunities available for our hotel to not only enhance our guest experience but on a larger scope ensure we’re maximising room sales and revenue for the Property.  

About You

Our Reservations Manager will a strategic decision maker who combines their commercial intuitive with superior guest service. To be successful in the role you will have been in the same or similar position at a luxury hotel and proven experience leading reservations teams in a luxury environment.

Other key attributes we are looking for include:

  • Passion for service excellence and providing superior hospitality;
  • Previous detailed experience of Shiji Daylight, Opera, Delphi, Synxis or similar;
  • Knowledge of revenue management systems such as IDeaS and experience of rate and inventory management and forecasting;
  • Independent and an ability to work under pressure;
  • Highly organised and ability to delegate effectively;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Strong Commercial and financial acumen;
  • Luxury hotel experience highly desirable;
  • Australian work rights.
